究竟人是性本善还是性本恶呢？其实每个人的性格和价值观，很多时都受小时候的经历所影响。所以我觉得，要人们活得精彩、要社会繁荣进步，就必须从教育下一代及提高他们的素质着手。作为一位公众人物，我希望可以尽自己所能，以身作则，令更多人为儿童的教育及福利工作出力。   Is human born kind or evil? In fact, one's character and belief are usually shaped by the various experiences in the childhood.  Therefore, I believe that to make one's life colourful and to make the society beautiful, we have to provide children with a better education and raise their quality.  As a public figure, I very much hope that my project can appeal to your contribution to children education and welfare. 我们的使命     《陈慧琳儿童助学基金》于2002年成立，乃一所非牟利志愿机构，服务对象为十八岁或以下之儿童。我们旨在透过提供各种资助及举办各类型活动，为儿童谋福祉及加深大众对儿童福利工作的关注。 我们有以下目标：     1.    为有需要的儿童提供教育资助；     2.   为儿童提供全面身心发展的机会；     3.   透过奖励及表扬，鼓励学生努力学习。 Our Mission      Established in 2002, Kelly Chen Children Education Fund (KCCEF) is a non-profit making voluntary organization whose beneficiaries are the children aged 18 or below.  We aim at enhancing the well-being of the children and arousing public concern towards children's welfare by providing financial assistance and organizing different kinds of activities for children. KCCEF has the following objectives: 1. To provide financial support to the children in need of education; 2. To promote the development of children's multiple intelligences; 3. To stimulate children's creativity and energy by reward and commendation.

我們的工作 Our Work

資助计划 我们于香港设有以下两项資助计划： There are two service schemes in Hong Kong: 一、《学习资助计划》  为那些家庭环境出现突变的学童提供经济援助，使他们的学业不会因经济问题而受到影响 迄今已资助接近 200 名学童 资助项目包括：学费、校服费、书簿费、课外活动费、车费等等 1.  Education Subsidy Scheme Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to children whose families face sudden adverse situation so that the schooling of these children will not be affected by financial difficulties. 二、《智能发展计划》 资助各类以培养、训练及巩固儿童各项智能为目标的活动，让下一代有更多的个人发展空间 于不足两年的时间，与多个志愿机构合作的计划已有 10 个，当中有些仍在进行中 2.     Intelligence Development Scheme This scheme subsidies activities whose objectives are to cultivate, train and strengthen children's various intelligences so as to provide them with more capacity building opportunities.

《翰琳院》── 内地建校计划 2003 年 11 月，我们于贵州赫章县的野马村及威奢乡分别兴建《翰琳院尖山希望小学》及《翰琳院山英希望小学》，开展我们于内地的儿童教育工作。我们计划将来于各地有需要的地方兴建《翰琳院》，继续为有需要的儿童提供教育。 Hanlinyuan --- School Project in the Mainland China      In November 2003, we have established two primary schools in the poverty areas in Guizhou. It is a start for our educational work in the Mainland China. We are looking forward to set up more schools in order to provide studying opportunity as well as improve studying environment for the children in the future.

Kellyland 產品 我们设计及制作了多款不同类型的 Kellyland 产品，当中包括印有 Kelly 卡通肖像的文具精品及 Kelly International School 英语教育漫画，所有收益均拨捐作基金经费。我们希望让大众能够购买到既益智又精美实用的产品之余，同时亦能共襄善举，为我们孩子的将来出点力 Kellyland Product We have designed and produced a number of Kellyland products, including stationery and premium goods bearing Kelly's cartoon image, and the English comic series “Kelly International School”. All the profits generated will be donated to KCCEF for the above worthwhile causes. We hope that the public will purchase funny and practical products, and at the same time, take part in making a contribution to our children's future.
